One Last Poem Before I Go

One last poem, before I go 
One last poem, to let you know 
In case it's time...that my life ends 
I bid you well, my dear friends
 
One last poem, before I fly 
One last poem, to say "Good-bye"
I leave behind, my love to all 
But please don't weep, cry or bawl 

I'll be up high, where the angel sings 
I'll be up high, on lengthy wings 
Please don't worry, I'll be safe and sound 
Upon a jet... "Vacation" bound

You had me very worried for a moment there, Charles: What a coincidence. My hubby and I are driving to Florida too in a few days but our drive is a few hours shorter than yours. Enjoy your niece’s wedding. SuZ

Charles you left me sitting here wondering what all this meant. If it was that your life was spent or it was on a holiday you went, ... I decided the latter, but what does it matter, ,, Have good vacation ,, I'll end with an exclamation.!

Hi Wendy...I'm going on vacation to Florida, but I hate flying (lol) Ends up because of hurricane "Nicole" my flight was cancelled so instead I will be driving 18 hrs so that I can get there in time for my niece's wedding. The things we do for family :)
