One Last Midnight Beyond the Dark
One last midnight beyond the dark
Black unfolds and there is no spark
No starlight to see or guide the way
The universe expands to end the day
The shadows have gone into the murky dusk
Choking light with its tasteless husk
The rayless opaque leaves a shaded skull
Its somber cloud makes my soul dull
