One Great Challenge

What we really need to learn as humans is to take responsibility for ourselves. When just a boy, I was neither a trouble maker nor angel. Much of what I did or did not do was permeated with the Reality of 'consequences'. This reality guided and sometimes Forced me to take responsibility for my actions. It was an Integral part of the American way of life. I suggest that this Principle of life is gravely missing in our modern culture and Society. It's what ails us deep inside, and recapturing that Ideal is one of the Greatest Challenges we face as a nation.
