One God
Why does the mention of God evoke denial and debate
With bigots spewing lies and rhetoric filled with hate
We are all his children, no matter what our sect
Whatever we may call him, we all deserve respect
Our God is universal…The Creator made us all
To live in peace and harmony, reaching out to those who fall
We are our brother’s keeper, all made by God above
Rejecting war and hate, living side by side in love
