One day looking at the sky
(though I don’t know why),
standing in my underwear,
what did I descry?
There were piglets in my yard!
Do you think I lie?
Pink, with wings! They took off
up into the sky!
All the times I heard it said
Yeah, when pigs can fly!
How I wished for a witness
that could testify!
But nobody was around -
not that I could spy.
I grew tired and then lay down
with a weary sigh.
That strange sight which I had seen
I could not deny
till I woke, my head pounding
so bad I could cry.
With my senses coming back,
I guessed by and by,
It was me (and not pink pigs)
that was flying high!
