One Dark Moment

I am
lost in my mind
steeped in dark emotion.
Shadows block the light from my eyes
and all I see is the blackness of pain
which holds my heart captive again.
Swift flow my silver tears
and burn my skin
in trails.

I've not seen this form before, but you have done a wonderful job with it! Very heartfelt, sad and lonely. I was pulled into my own sorrows for a moment. Very well written! ~Trudy~

While the form is outstanding, the read itself is very introspective and sad. I sure hope this is fiction. Beautiful writing however. Michael

Robin, please step out of the "shadows." I love the way you shine! Interesting verse form; I see I can learn a lot from you, and I am trying to experiment. Thanks for your thoughts on "Feline Survivor." She's brought me such great joy. Love, Carolyn

Vivid, emotional write, here, Robin. Also, you've used a form that I've not heard of before now. I loved the line, "Swift flow my silver tears". This is just very well written. Hugs, Donna G.
