I didn’t start the fire, that raged in the rain A spark followed the wire, that traveled to my brain Smoldering pieces now left, I know it’s still my fault As the match fell in the cleft, there was a chance to halt My thoughts burning hot, emotions clouding fast I know now what I’m not, the one who wants to last
