One Autumn Night
The distant horizon now in passionate embrace of the sky
There are the stars, dewy wet; benignly conspiring to woo the pasture
Trodden for eternity by poets and lovers, the purple mist rises high
The rivulet flows amidst the mystic blue woods; its rapture
Overflowing all ages, all damp and morose households are swept
By the ethereal autumn, her all-pervading ripples of snow-scented lakes
O Nature, thy blessings in my heart is poignantly felt!
