Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time
Far away on a magical island
She met an attractive stranger
His dark eyes mesmerized her
His presence captivated her heart
His lips touched her soul
And sent her emotions into turmoil
He made her feel special, unique and sexy
He made her feel like she’s the only woman in the world for him
She longed for him when they weren’t together
She needed his touch when she couldn’t see him
She craved his lips, seeking out all the adventurous places
Wanted him caressing the voluptuous parts of her body
She missed him when they couldn’t speak
Then, it became quiet, no words exchanged, no glances of excitement
In perspective she knew it was surreal
She wanted him to whisk her away from adult responsibility
From routine, from daily chores, from dissolving into humanity
She wanted him to save her, to rescue her from boredom, to give her soul flight
To be the light in her life, be it from a distance shining so clear, so bright
But, she missed him, above all. She missed his sexiness, his jokes and his friendly, unresistable voice
She missed him, for who she could be with him
Freedom, he understood, words didn’t need to be explained
She longed for that spark to return, that zest which she knew was still hidden in her spirit
And he illuminated her being. But now it was dark. A dull sunset after a rainbow, glorious sunrise.
Once, oh so once upon a time, they dreamed together, they carried each other’s burden
They shared something needed and longed for by both
They enjoyed each other’s company and felt special for a bit
They made life easier, lighter, fun and adventurous together
Once, maybe, once more it can be experienced on this earth, in this life…..
