Eons ago pirate ship sailed oceans wild Old Jolly Rodger flew proudly in the wind It met its demise when crew were beguiled On merciless rocks it was pinned. These days just a pile of rotting timber Lead treasure chest is who knows where Crew long dead are spirits that whisper When they died did they utter a prayer? White bleached bone is scattered on shore Mixed with timber from doomed ghost ship Ocean is angry and seagulls' soar Desolation prevails held tight in its grip.
