Love isn't always a blessing
Have you ever loved someone so deeply And so completely That you forget about yourself Your world revolves around them And can't think of anything else Do you think they're the only one Who understands you like no one ever could Have a special kind of love that only you know In your heart, soul body and in your blood Did you ever give so much But feel it was still not good enough And when things get bad you lose that loving touch Why does love hurt so bad when it shouldn't hurt at all Suddenly you find yourself aboard a sinking ship And feel pushed to the edge, and about to fall When your love was built by faith trust and friendship Is now meaningless and you wonder if they lied It's such a bitter pill to take When you realise you were never loved at all although you tried Communication breakdown pushes you both further away Becoming strangers of the heart And the home you built together Is now an empty place and rips your heart apart.
