VOICE: Ahmad Razvi

Listen to poem:
He whimpered in my arms, against my chest he cried until his tears dried. In his hair I whispered a new day would come. The rhythm of the train an almost lullaby. Around us children slept like we should. The comfort of the dark erased the looks on faces, and dirty clothes. Once in this life a wish in me was travelling the world in trains with views of wide sunlit valleys, beaches, overflown with greenblue waves, home to fish. Once in this life a wish in me was to sit there watching that wonder with people with love in their faces, with food in their hands. Once in this life I lived we lived.

It does, doesn't it? A lot of thoughts, unspoken. Not just you, me too. Thanks Chris.
