Once Familiar Perfume

The wind from the south, as rich as whispered voices, nudges my heartstrings to roam those timeworn keepsake places; espying aged filaments of true hope, numbered and nearly as delicate as a man hungering for the once familiar perfume of old-fashioned hymns.
