Once
Once I went down in history
and fell down to a D in math too!
Once I made a monkey of me
And I never lived in a zoo!
Once I refused to take a nap
I'm told that's resisting a rest!
Once while I still had my shirt on
I got something off my chest!
Once when I lifted up a little skunk
They all said that I raised a stink
Once in passion I quenched my thirst
Without even taking a drink!
Once I recieved a broken heart
I didn't die or even bleed
All these things happened more than once
I guess I would have to concede.
