On Turning Fifty

On Turning Fifty


When  I turned fifty years ago,
I felt half a century old!
But now that age is young to me
Since my three kids passed that threshold.

Age fifty is just relative...
there is no need to feel despair.
Compared to 'centenarians'
You still are only half-way there!
