On Those Soft White Clouds
From my childhood days
Fascinated I was with those white clouds
Trying to imagine what they wanted to say
Made lofty shapes of them in my mind
I dreamt of floating between those clouds
Dreamt of being in a fairy land
With a magic wand
Sailing on these clouds I would see the world
When tired ,I would sleep on that fluffy cloud
How soft and fluffy and white it would be!
Would play hide and seek with the sun
Would kiss the earth softly like the rain drops
Or would engulf mountains on a hazy day
I would go ,wherever the clouds go
I would do, whatever the clouds did
Still, whenever I look into the sky
Those friends of mine still smile back
Still I believe someday I would sail
On those soft white clouds
