On the Playground

I chased Leela Kilpatrick as a game
She turned around and kicked me with no shame
To mama that day
I just had to say
I thought she tried to live up to her name!

Thank you Maureen. I work nights and just got up, but it is sort of morning to me, at least until I get off work. It's kind of complicated but anyway I hope you are having a wonderful day. Thank you so much for commenting.......80).....Pat

There were an Aunt and Uncle and a couple of cousins there at the time. They all laughed when I said that. I know I was beet red, because I've always been shy, but It felt good to make people laugh. Hence I suppose, my mostly funny poems!......Pat
