Notes About The Poem

Back in November my appendix ruptured so I was in hospital for two weeks and then on total bed rest for six weeks. Finally got back to work and was at work one month when I got out of bed to get ready for work one day, caught my foot in a blanket and fell and broke my hip. Been recovering from that since and can't wait to start being able to put some money back in my account to pay m bills which are adding up. Sent off to E.I. (Employment Insurance) and they sent me some money to get me through just the other day. It sure did take a load off my shoulders but I need to go back to work.

On the Mend

My hip is getting better since I broke it back in March.
The doctors say I'll be working again soon.
I'm behind in all my payments and I'm almost out of cash.
Not to worry I'll be on my feet in June.

Hip hip Hooray. I hadbroken hip to0 5 years ago. They used rods to get me back together, no full hip replacement. The worst part was crawling on the floor to get to a phone. Murder. I never walk without an alert button anymore. It's almost 5 years ago. I loathed rehab totally. Not one to follow directions. Then rehab at home. Best wishes, Judy. Pangie xxn

WoW! Pangie! You were hurt much worse than me. I didn't need any surgery at all. I just had to take it easy and let it heal. Stayed off me feet as much as possible. Hated staying in bed especially after spending 6 weeks in bed recovering from a recent appendectomy. Was back at work only one month and fell and broke the hip. (Sheeesh!) The doctors thought I would need a metal plate in my hip but they decided I didn't need it after all. Thanks bunches my friend. God Bless, JB

I had open heart surgery in January. That really set me back a loop. Hope you get back on your feet soon. Have a great day.

Wow Judy I did not realize you broke your hip. I truly hope you are on the mend. I guess I have not spent much time on here lately. I pray things will turn around for you soon. Get well soon. God bless phyl
