On the Long Line

I happened to see you as I was waiting on line Something about you immediately caught my eye This intense attraction suddenly came over me and I know it may sound crazy cause we didn't even talk But visions of our escapades flashed into my mind as if we had been together in past life or something On this long line I waited amused by the whole situation It's funny because if you weren't there I probably would have been pretty irritated about standing for so long but since you were I couldn't help glancing at you and than looking away each time you glanced my way it's spectacularly amazing that you can make me feel this giddy and nervous when I only saw you from a distance On this long line I admired everything about you On this long line I fantasied about what we could be I only saw you this one time and it stuck with me Maybe if i'd had enough courage to actually do what was on my mind the whole time while I was in line Than maybe I wouldn't be writing this poem you'd probably be right next to me Now wouldn't that be one hell of a story
