On the Inside

On the Inside

You can’t see the tears rolling down my eyes.
Cause I’m crying loudly on the inside.
You can’t see the anger in my face
Cause it’s hidden on the inside
You can’t see my scars
Cause they are planted on the inside
On the inside, that’s where the pain is having a party
On the inside, is where my heart is breaking
Surprised the world didn’t hear the sound of my heart breaking
On the inside that’s where I am breaking down
Oh, I have it all together on the outside
But on the inside, I am a mess
A really big mess
On the inside, anger, pain, sadness, depression, are having a party
On the outside, I smile
On the inside, it knows nothing of a smile
On the inside, that’s where I hide it all
