On the Bus

It was late at night and the weather was cold
I was waiting for the bus when I saw her
She looked small, innocent and young
She had long dark hair in one plait
She had big black puppy eyes

After a while the bus came, and we got on
I couldn’t keep my eyes off hers
Until she had noticed
And she started to look at me in the eyes as well
I felt that me starring like that was rude
So i looked away

We kept it on and off for a while
Till she came and sat right beside me
We were sitting close to each other, shoulder to shoulder
I could glance her starring at me

I felt my body was getting hot despite the cold
I tried to talk to her and make a conversation
But my tongue got frozen suddenly
And how can I fall in love with someone I just met on bus?
but how do I know? , I never fell in love before

Should I just try? Should I just start talking?
Okay it won’t harm to give it a try
And we can say that she made the first move already
Okay take a breath, open your mouth…
And stand up
For now it is your stop!
