On Love Ghosts

So hard
to 
hold love
now
in the moment
between
a caress
and 
a look
too strong
too hesitant
too weak
too steady

To watch
it
glide down
and
away 
from my body,
it's sighs
gone quiet

To know it
didn't find
peace
with me.

a veryfresh take on this age old topic of love. I enjoyed how you made the whole verse just slide down the way the lines did! Like food going down our throats. .OH, I am back to one of our favorite topics again. Too bad we can't have a food fest. Food doesn't disappoint like love can!
