Yesterday, I was a Phoenix with clipped wings; beset by pessimism, I couldn't rise alone. I was buried so deep under a heap of smothering ash I found myself gasping for air, crying out for salvation. I was swallowed in the abyss of fatalism, I cried out for you, hope, then you swooped down and took me up! Today, just look at us! I'm flying... so high on your wings miraculously; we're now soaring across oceans and towering mountains. Praise the Lord! Though brittle your wings, I feel no fear as I clutch on, for I have faith in your flight My freedom is now unfettered. I'm clutching tightly... on your gossamer wings as you float above the clouds. My freedom is now unfettered. Date written: 03/01/2020
