On Confidence
ON CONFIDENCE
Trust comes from letting go of fear
Release these bonds they keep you there
The wings of faith will let you rise
Above the negative thoughts and lies.
Be explicit in saying what you desire
Dedication and focus will get you higher
Give thanks and expect a positive result
Then you realize it wasn’t that difficult.
Your thoughts have much power and energy
Which create your experience and identity
Because “as a man thinketh, so is he”
Be conscious and know that’s what you’ll see
Step into your blocks and run your race
Confidence always gets you first place
You have worked hard and passed the test
So go out there and show them your best.
They’ve taped and studied your every move
Hoping they’ll get the very same groove
They visit ask questions do a DNA test
In the quest for answers why you’re the best.
They come with a vengeance, they cannot see why
This tiny country should be passing them by
So know you’ll be challenged in a very real way
For Beijing left a mystery unsolved to this day
