On Being Totally Healed

Thanking God, His most graciousness, I am all healed.
Totally at peace, my grateful body now feels.
Crushed knee, thigh broken in two pieces.
I howled uncontrollably,with no ceases.
Trauma center,six hour surgery.
Hospital, heaven on earth! 
Food for royalty.
Kindness galore.
Perfection!

Note to poets. Horrendous fall in November. Took 6 months to heal.
How great the ability to walk is! It feels akin to flying.
Thanks to all of you who wrote, read my poetry and supported me.
And a first class family, who stood by me, on this long road to
recovery.

All of you are angels!

I am so glad you are back to walking. Sounds simple until one can not do it. Have a great/blessed day...................... Panagiota Romios May 31, 2022 at 3:58 PM All a well person does suddenly is gone. Simple things....making a cup of coffee, getting in and out of bed. I cannot explain it. Cooking? No chance. 4 out of 18:000 understand. You are one of them. I am a human being first. A poet, secondarily. I wrote 10 poems a day back then, at 3 am in hospital.no more, though. Use a walker but beats a wheelchair. I already wrote several poems on this. Enough))) Getting well means nothing. Death seems more of interest here. How sad! We never know what our friends are going through here...I mean any recovering ones. Panagiota
