On Appreciation
Within today's giftee's coup d'etat
Gratitude receives no big hurrah.
A gift was expected
gift cards are accepted
But thank yous are not a rule of law.
Announcements/invitations - aides memoire.
Sending thank yous will define who you are;
when "re-cog" breaks through
it's not ALL about you.
Appreciation makes the giver a star.
