On Angel's Breath

On angel's wings she's carried.
A halo around her head.
Waiting until I slumber,
to appear besides my bed.
She leans down in close to me,
Her angelic beauty flowing free.
I sense her presence through my dreams.
Her sweet fragrance appeals to me.
My heart thuds, threatening to burst through my chest.
I lean in close to her automatically.
She smiles, caressing my cheek.
I strain to get closer, restrained by my sheets.
She places one everlasting kiss upon my lips.
The meeting of tongues tips.
She whispers "I love you"
The words stir the words stir the air,
on angels breath,
it flutters.
