On a Rainy Rainy Day
I was craving a little bit of you today,
On a rainy rainy day,
I know, cliche...
Every thought bent on a heartbreak
I tell myself I should not stay
But we know as well as any
My thoughts I give away
On a rainy rainy day
I know you are a closed clam of a guy
You have got treasures to stash
And no unshiny penny is going to succeed
In opening your clasp
I get it
I've known it
I flinch and kick a rock with it
You are not as pretty
As my thoughts make you out to be
You are only a man in the land of infinity
But today you are a thought
A thought that is here to stay
A thought that's here to stay
On a rainy rainy day
