On a Beach
As I stood on a sandy beach
I thought, "Now let me see,"
"Why's that beach ball getting bigger?"
Then suddenly, it hit me!
An angel then appeared to me
She helped me up, from the sand
Overcome by her sheer beauty
As I felt the touch of her hand
My heart was then set ablaze
New to a boy of eleven
Such a fire could only burst
From a match made in heaven!
Then a man, walked up to us
In my mind there crept some doubt
He said, "Hello, I'm her husband!"
And snuffed that fire right out!
