Omnes Exuent In Mysterium 1-7
Omnes Exuent In Mysterium
1.
Whence it came
None may know.
To whence it travels
None may know.
Between the two -
The Everything.
Matter the dream of energy
Energy the dream of thought
Thought the dream of ...
The Everything.
2.
We come to life in chaos
Blood and bone
Screams and joy.
We exit, in a myriad of ways,
Terror, Peace, Accident and Purpose
All unplanned, unforeseen.
3.
An octillion atoms in every body
Not a one that wasn't part
Of something else, and something else
On and on before.
Back and back to the great hot stars
That birthed your matter eons past,
There lies your ultimate home.
4.
Try to imagine
The crush of ages
Flowing past your unimagined beginnings
To the time that was not a time,
When the ungraspable beauty of the universe
Unfurled into the ever growing
Nothingness
Like one vast rose
Blooming before the Eye of God alone;
This the beginning
Of all you are
Of all you will be
Of all that matters ...
You are eternal
And ... ephemeral
Because you are always becoming
Something else
5.
So down your days you go,
In this world now,
Becoming
Along with everything else.
You build this life as you go
A dance of determinations
Effect, Affect
Cause and Accident
Purpose, Chaos
Everything interacts,
The rose blooms
Carries us along
6.
It was so easy as a child,
Not so?
The fantastic accepted
As a matter of course.
Then they told you
You couldn't think like that anymore.
So you stopped.
Yet still it teases
At the back of the mind.
7.
Oh childhood.
What a magnificent time!
Possibilities - boundless
Beliefs - unfettered.
What you thought
Became what Was.
