Omens Outlived

With a voice ornamented in ogled tension
you ask me,
like vulnerable flesh queries warm obsession,
Do you mean to love me this way...
on your mouth, a hold of hope I see
to you I say...
Does the sun choose to flare into sapphire atmosphere,
Does the moon decide who's eyes to enchant,
Does a rose ponder its tempt,
Does a man dare his heart relent,
Does a woman wonder whence came her allure and dare,

A heatwave of heartache's swelter swells over your soul
as the outcry of orgulous omens try to defy our survival,
blood drops fall lonesomely from the old body of a lark
a steeple bell broken by the thunder of sorrow in the dark,
gold found burning into rivulets reaching into graveyard rock,
you begin to weep
because the weight of worry waylays your wishes for our eternity,
I surround you with a love shield that shames the arrows of agony
kissing you softly deep,
then I tell you that fate is not our enemy,
don't you understand my Lady...
Sultans cannot buy or sell the feelings we share,
Emperors unable to enforce the silence of our hearts,
rivals are but ridiculous in attempt to dowse our flame,
Time be trite in march against the magic in our care,
the poetry of our purpose will not be censored by cynical marks,
emotions erratic in wrath will not wrest the roots from which our passion came -

Your sister is a rare beauty with a powerful mind for observation. I wish she would read poetry to me too! This poem is all about taking control of love, and denying irrational, envious elements from spoiling natural beauty. Your verses always sharpen my vision J.W.M. THANKS! J.A.B.

Dear Justin, I enjoyed your poem of love, resilience and faith in a committed relationship. True, when some have not opened their hearts to this compelling feeling. Your words are strong and forceful. You come from the soul and you come from consciousness as you describe other feelings which I presume you yourself do not feel. Wonderful truthfull poem, what a wonder that which we can relate to when reading this poem as well as learn through your heartfelt poetic words. Kudos! Coty Benrimoj

Everything I write I feel, everything I feel I learn Coty. Learning through love is the best way to live Coty, I'm so very happy you share in my force. Consciousness exists outside and inside the body as my next poem will elucidate. Your thoughts are precious to me Coty...J.A.B.

I thank you very much Richard for believing in the merit and longevity of the passion I experience with the woman I love like no other thing in the universe. My purpose is ameliorated by the touch of her spirit, and my purpose is beyond calculation. Questions lead to quest. J.A.B.

The poetry of our purpose... wow I really like that line. It also sounds great in reverse, purpose of our poetry... from meaning comes beauty and music, for without meaning it would only be despair. You write with a mix of passion and intelligence. Flowery words to allure, and deep reflections to endure... now you got me talking like you. GREAT stuff as usual, my friend!

If love be not Poetry then it be not true my friend. This poem of protecting affection makes clear the meaning that our desire stirs Timothy. Passionate intelligence gives beauty to soul instinct. I'm honored that you see greatness in the love between she and I. J.A.B.

There is no triumph if the soul cannot rejoice Nette. The stronger our love grows the more intense the trials will become, the heavier, the passion hotter on our lips. Thank you for your sensitive touch Nette...J.A.B.

You have such a brilliant mind, Justin. The questions from the first stanza are very memorable and lathered in purpose. In love one needs an assuring soul to guide them away from worry and doubt, the omens that linger to break apart heaven-chosen connections. That soul of assurance and sustainability is very strong in you...how beautiful this poem is..No power on earth can stop two from love, from having your voice be heard, or for being what you truly are. Intense surety makes that possible.

My mind becomes brlliant when my heart feels ebullient with a sense of wonder, love, or justice...in this instance my Love Muse brings all of these elements together for me. The metaphors alive in the first verse are emblemtical of life's fundemental bodies of raw power, mystery, romance, love and passion exemplified in the ideal examples I could conjure Laura. Lathered with a sense of surety.J.A.B.

Those who try to distract others from love, are often the ones who never experienced it themselves... We were all born with a heart and nothing should stop us from using it... I loved this deeply heartfelt fight for expression. A truly beautiful poem, Justin!

Continued...you are so right in every way woman...ultimately, only we can prevent our own love expression, albeit sometimes its so difficult to trust, to share, to endure, and to create. Love makes fighters of the honest and passionate. I thank you for your love and wisdom Kelly...J.A.B.

Those who try to disract others from they're love, or who attempt to ruin that love are the ones most desperate for love, most in need of it's various lessons. One of those lessons is that the absence of love hurts, and can move one to envy and fury. Oddly, sometimes we even sabotage our own love to hurt ourselves or others Kelly. Love is very serious psychology...J.A.B.

You are a warrior with a heart of love. This is a beautiful piece, Justin. I must come out of hiding to comment on its melody...

Me too Jade! Everyone needs a love warrior in their life, a special person that confirms love's existence, that's says its okay to make love without rules or predictable outcomes, someone who absolutely knows that what makes your relationship divine will never perish. In my heart you do not hide...your inspiration endures Jade. Thank you for seeing my heart. I miss your passionate genius. J.A.B.

One of the greatest rewards of love is to protect it, to reinforce it's power with the one you share that with Nette. Affirmation of true and inimitable affection. You know much about fervent hearbeats, your response is very encouraging Nette...J.A.B.

Justin,a deep confirmation of love and passion which sees faith as hope not fear. Its a comforting poem to those who believe in love yet see no way out to make it work with the one.Sultans,Emperors amd more can steal everything from the simple man and his lady, but not the freedom to love and passion to share. That birthed feeling goes beyond expectations.Just so deep this is,Awesome.

This poem illustrates that love can be discouraged by internal strife and by extraneous forces that want own and or limit our self esteem. Love developed actually enhances our sense of liberty. Your viewpoint is so sociologically profound and poetically reverent to love Charma...J.A.B. I'm FAVING this comment too!
