Old Typescripts
Time oozes away,
Squeezes sad play
Old pathway think
Old typescripts link
Odd as old age
A lost vintage
Yellow with time
Such sparkling rhymes
So much unsaid
Like bills unpaid
Overdue yet sad
Word crumpled mad
Typewriter trace
Now out of place
Black ink punched print
Red ink smudged tint
Verse in brisk strokes
Lines of rhymes yoke
An era past
Yet words outlast
Cast in laid wood
Paper craft mood
Words of a kind
Echo not blind
