Old Tea Bag

Such pleasure it gives yet thrown away
believe me it will happen to us all one day,
the only way out sadly is not alive
the secret being when in; how to survive,
my place of abode the teapot nice and round
in it one needs to ready the journey bound,
to leave one’s comfort zone mashed and up the spout
there’s always a way when need’s be; to get out!

Ice cold sweet tea served with a slice of lemon but with a twist-- in my 20's I started drinking it either unsweetened or sweetened lightly with honey. Enjoyed the thought provoking write my friend!! When I am too stressed, I stop what I am doing, wherever I am, put one hand on my hip, stick the other arm out, and start reciting "I'm a little teapot short and stout...tip me over and pour me out" I can't help going into fits of giggles and it releases the stress. I'm sure you remember the days when the 'experts' claimed that coffee and tea were harmful to one's health; now they say it's good for you! It is loaded with anti-oxidants which help prevent cancer and other illnesses!
