Old School

I wish we could take it back to the old school days Back when being a drug addict was considered a bad thing and not a cool phase This generation just seem to have thrown the rules away I miss the old school days I wish we could go back to the old school days that I miss Like the days when the Kardashians didn't exist Back when you had to be talented for the radio to play your music The good old days where people weren't proud of being stupid I miss when being a drug addict was a bad thing now this generation has made it a brag thing We're supposed to be advancing, but it feels like we've lost the clarity People these days don't care about real life success, they want retweets, likes and social media popularity Take me back to the days where relationships held value and love was respected When people showed they cared and both sides put in effort I miss the days where guys would take girls out for dinner or to the movies I miss when we could send a text without using a single Emoji take me back to when getting famous was harder than posting pictures of yourself naked I miss the days when Hip-Hop was more than who has the most tattoos on faces I miss when people respected love more than meaningless sex and searched for their soul mates I understand things change, but I just miss the good old days I wish we could take it back to the old school days Back when being a drug addict was considered a bad thing and not a cool phase This generation has thrown the rules away I miss the good old school days
