Old Jack Frost

Old Jack frost decided to come last night
He pulled the cold north wind over his shoulder
And dragged his blanket across the prairie plain
Whatever he touched he left a touch of frost
Old Jack frost left no plant untouched.
In the early morning light
He picked up his blanket
Leaving as quickly as he came.

You must live in the North, Phyllis. I like the way you describe the way Jack Frost picked up his blanket after the sun rose. Great poem! Diane
