Old Flame
In yesterday's embers , our love's ashes lie ,
A fleeting dream , now lost in gray's cold sigh.
Tears fall like autumn's rain ,
Washing away our love's remains , leaving only pain.
Memories linger , a bittersweet refrain ,
Echoes of passion , now distant refrain.
My heart still yearns , a flame that refuses to cease ,
A longing to rekindle , to relive our sweet release.
In dreams , I see your face , a haunting gaze ,
A beauty that bewitched , a love that amazed.
My soul cries out , a desperate plea ,
To revive the spark , to set our love free.
