Oh,Red My Poet-Friend

My blues-loving, Chicago poet and  amicable compatriot! Now....somewhere up in those skies. You were well known and published, too! And your poetry drove me insane. Depressing, negative verses! Words all in vain. I don't know whatever damaged your psyche to such dire perdition. You had compassion when I knew you. Then later, you turned into such a sad and bitter man. Your only god was the New York Times? That negative behemoth of lies and perfidy, oh, Red! Lost under meaningless social conundrums and looking for truth and answers in humans? Your son, a missionary, died in South Africa. He knew the man who died on the Cross was the answer, not humans who spit in God's face. There are billions like you, Red. Poets hating God and His word. Including having a high disdain  for any believer! Always loving you~ Panagiota September 4. 2019

Nothing like a writer as a friend; they can sit and write with you for hours, neither talking. Glad you have each other!

G'day Panagiota … I really did enjoy your poem about your friend Red. The verse is raw and full of honesty. Red appears to have been an interesting man indeed - thanks Panagiota - Lindsay

Hi Lindsay, gee, we knew each other for at least thirty years. Years ago we went to see the movie, "Romeo and Juliet."We both sat there and wept through the movie! Red did Poetry readings, too. Negativity ruined him. He was very loveable.Nice I am immortalized in his book. But am also in another book about my childhood. Good to have writers as friends. Thanks Panagiota @Love
