Oh What Joy

Oh what love, what joy
To be in this place,
And to see this face
And know that it is mine.

After all that has passed
Is now behind

I look forward to a new day;
Peace and contentment
The lead contenders for attention.

After all that has passed,
I now see

There are no regrets,
No fears or resentment;
Forgiveness divine.

After all that has passed,
I now believe

In love, and with joy
I embrace with compassion,
Absolved of long ago reactions;
My heart is free.

After all that has passed
I now receive.
