Don't force me to this zone where the walls are insub- stantial and thick as barricades the same time, where squeals of owls that carry mice between their nightly claws become screeches of demons with black holed eyes ropes choose to twine necks with a knack for nodding I wake again or so it seems but there they are again crows of menace in raven black clothing with knives for claws don't drive me down the stairs of derelict timber, a gateway that closes to a chamber of torture with rings to crush my spine, thin arms and spreadeagle love oh wake me to a morning with sun and chant of birds oh please *** May 1, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

So let it be said So let it be written So let it be done. Need I say more. I think not. However, it has always been my way of thinking that there should never ever be a fallen angel. And to all the fall angels who do exist because they do I say Bless The Beast and The Children. Your words Darren and expression are tremendous. Yes wake to the light of life not the darkness. This entry and your words so speak to me. Have a wonderful day. Excellent work in its entirety. This was an honor.

Wow, that was some nightmare my friend. Hopefully you woke to a sunny day with blue skies. Nightmares always seem to find their way in but when they do, if they leave behind amazing creativity as this poem shows, I guess every once in a while they are ok. I guess. :)

Nightmares, especially series of them, like now, are incredibly unnerving. I use writing poetry to ground myself again, to cope, and face a new and better day :)

An intricate nightmare Darren, I would also plead for the light.
