Oh Mr Activist

You talk of neo- liberalism
And progressive politics
They say Im left of centre
Like a sort of wonky shelf

Please oh Mr Activist , the Newspeak you can keep.
What we need more of, is a lot more Common sense 

Terrorists aint freedom fighters
And what the hell is Daesh 
Just a bunch of Idiots
Who’s imaginary friend as sent them ape

Please oh Mr Activist , the Newspeak you can keep.
What we need more of, is a lot more Common sense 

As carbon really got a foot print
And diversity not a dance group on a show
And a honest conversation
Thats not telling someone they are  as  ugly as their  mum 

Please oh Mr Activist , the Newspeak you can keep
What we need more of, is a lot more  Common sense 

The voters will stop listening
And turn on  their television sets
And start voting for a dancing dog
On X factor instead.
