Oh Luna Oh Luna, I am watching you rise in eastern skies. Your fullness fills my heart with romantic thoughts As I serenely bathe in your charming reflective glow, I know there are lovers every- where gazing in awe Of your exquisite enchanting allure causing hearts To beat with a thrilling rhythm of inner love songs That captivate the heart and soul, imbibing imagery Of silent shadows and distant stars that drape your Indigo sky in shimmering star- light from light years Passed, and as shooting stars brighten night skies, They are reflected as you are in lover's longing eyes. 10-24-18

I, too, love the moon and follow its phases. On Pinterest I have a collection of moon photos. It leads me to dream and wonder. This is a delightful poem!!

A great tribute to the moon and to those who appreciate it. This is catching and I will watch the moon. Not tonight as we are going on holiday in our new Spanish home. But the day after the moon will enchant me once more. The theme of my marriage is the moon spoon story. Kind lunar wishes, Kai

I think you made a connection for all the people in love in the world. It's a great day when that happens and an even better evening.

"...reflected as you are in lover's longing eyes." So many beautiful lines, Connie. Just a few nights ago the moon rose over the ocean here (like the sun does in the morning) and it appeared huge. Must have been a harvest moon. Luna is such a source of imagination! Excellent writing, my friend. Hugs, Carolyn

Connie - thank you, thank you and thank you! I have long felt these feelings when moon gazing, but have never found the right words - you just gave them to me. In essence, you broke down my mirror feel that I might nod yes, yes, that's it. Love you ... CayCay

Oh, thank you so much for liking this enough to fave it Jan. Luna certainly has influence over our emotions. Last month both my daughters living 2,300 miles apart, took pictures of the full moon and texted them to me as I sent them a photo of the rising sun. The apples don't fall far from the tree. Lol Thank you my friend. You made my day! : )

Thank you Jennifer. My daughters are so much like me that last month when the moon was full both of them took a photo of the moon and texted it to me. They live 2,300 miles apart. I had to laugh as I sent them a photo of the rising sun all on the same day. Nice to meet you Jennifer. That is the name of my oldest daughter. : )
