Oh! Happy Days

Renting a car
Hire it weekly
Off of the forecourt
Ever so meekly
Waiting until
A mile up the road
Check for police
Throttle gets toed
Burning some rubber
Spinning the wheel
Smiling away as the
Tyres they squeal
Needle it redlines
In every gear
Hitting the bends
Showing no fear
Listening to
The big engines roar
Into the straight
Foot to the floor
Bend coming up
Shift into third
Sweetest sound that
You ever heard
Dab on the brake
Power it through
Reacts like a dream
Sticking like glue
Next one ahead
Try power slide
Going too fast
Car drifting wide
Stamp on the brake to
Slow down the b*tch
Wheels lock up tight
Flips into a ditch
Strapped in the seat
Engine ablaze
Doors are jammed shut
Oh! Happy days
