Office Worker At Day's End

Office Worker At Day's End.... He packs his things, then heads onto the waiting punch clock machine.... An honest day's work all done, just need to punch out after another early morning punch-in... It has been another typical day, working through the clock it has been... So much work to be done, all his time and effort, the work never ends..... All the flurry of activities, hurried and harried, all through the working day.... Barely a pause, save the hour long lunch break, just another typical day.... Now it is the traffic jam, day in day out, it is the same... You've got to be alert, stout of heart to weave your car in and out .... Flip your signal switch, idiot! What planet are you from... Have a heart, sister! Wait for your turn, I, too, am in a rush to get home.... Here we go, moving once again, let's do it smooth and steady... Got to drive carefully, it has been a long day, home is right ahead...
