Off To Help the Neighbor

Off to Help the Neighbor

Off to help the neighbor
As soon as this is done
You won't believe the teen he is
He's really number one

Helps the older and younger
And all those in between
Helps everyone that needs it
And he's only seventeen

Knows about a lot of things
A few here I will tout
Mechanics, welding, building, Farming
And really helping out

Goes to church when open
Runs computer, sound and video
So far I haven't found a thing
About which he doesn't know

Inventive and creative
Not a better teen you'll find
I can't believe all that he does
It really blows my mind

He's putting doors on his workshop
Asked if I could assist
Helping him is only right
Not something to be missed

It's just a little payback
For the example set for me
For being the kind of person
That everyone should be
