Of Mother
You said I reminded you of my mother.
We both liked to argue, you said.
Did you ever love her?
You said I reminded you of my mother,
in a tone that echoed of dread.
More attention was spent on my brother.
You said I reminded you of my mother,
for of the same blood we bled.
You said I reminded you of my mother.
Did you ever love her?
Your stark tone echoed with dread.
We both liked to argue, you said.
More attention was spent on my brother.
You said I reminded you of my mother.
There has never been or will ever be another.
