Of Broken Heart

Of broken heart I’m looking through the glass and falling apart Quietly and barely breathing And all the scattered pieces of my broken heart Still get her beating. I see nothing beyond that foggy glass It has no meaning. As I feel lonesome in my own unconscious class And have no healing. My mind is rushing way too fast, Running For all that love that had me passed And glowing. That glow is gone and now a mere shade Of pale. Rests on my face in cruel trade As I am stale. Sadness takes its lethal toll… My eyes Watering for everything and all That dies. Of all the souls I knew so far, Yours and alone Is where I want to be a falling star From morning until dawn. Voices from afar sound somewhat calm, Missing the sun. The little dove I keep so loving in my palm Will fly away when I am gone. And when I’m gone his wings will tell Quietly and barely beating Of where my broken heart had fell Lost and forgiving. If I die a thousand and one times Or tries I know I’ll be the wind dancing your chimes And live forever in your eyes.
