Ode To the Financial Experts
I listened to a so called expert as he stated the obvious on TV
Defending bankers and politicians and their reckless spending policy.
With a straight face he told us it was really all our own fault,
As we didn’t stop them being dishonest with our money in their vault!
We can’t expect banking or governments to do as they are paid,
For a moral compass, is something missing within their pay grade.
Well what can one say; I mean to expect such a fine thing,
With all the rewards and responsibility these positions bring.
Imagine honesty in financial business, a bit much to expect.
As the expert said,” It’s the citizens fault that the country is fecked”.
