Ode To Peace

O peace the grand duke of history, source of all tranquility and sweet destiny, enrich our soul, with the rigor of your clarity. Spent are the days of rot and despair, the long winter is over, your Spring is here; they can stifle your work no longer, their deadly seeds are gone, the air is clear, the grass is soft again, ready to tell the herd roaming in the distance. O peace, source of all love, nothing is left in their tanks for war, guns have fallen silent, soldiers resting in trenches playing monopoly, the only spark in the sky is from the face of moon moved in tears. O eternal peace.
