Ode To My Birds

hush your little birdie mouths, there's no need to begin. hush your silly singing, Mommy's trying to sleep in.

Just like real children...they chirp and chirp and chirp til you shove some bird food in their mouths...lol. Nice rhyme scheme. Do these lil birdies have a name for you? "ma Ma, ma Ma!" I can just hear em now.. Congrats on your poem's success. Gwendolen

Parakeets have to be the most loquacious creatures on the earth. My parents bought two blue ones for my brother years ago. What a mistake that was! My brother and my late grandmother would be telling them to shut up every ten minutes.

oh, how darling, that you see them like your children. My mother adored her bird she had, Francine. It died and I don't think she replaced it.
