Ode To Molly

She comes to me in such vibrant colors
By her radiant display I am undone.
Burning alive, flying so near the sun.
So cold her embrace my skeleton shudders.
Hoping she takes me to ethereal heights
Frightened though I am, I cannot resist
I feel each finger of her tight’ning grip
Breathless and pale for her soothing delights
Nights turn to days, and each one is a daze,
A cloud I have become unable to escape.
Walking, stumbling on through the haze
Only to fall into her pestilent embrace.
These colors of her wash over me, endless,
An ocean of light and sound so relentless.
